2012 NAMI South Carolina: Recovery Member of the Year
The award for the Best Recovery Member of the Year was presented to Mary Ann Gallagher(Third from left). Mary Ann is a NAMI Connections Support Group Leader and a presenter for Provider Education. She is also a team member of the Parents and Teachers as Allies panel.
She volunteers twice weekly at the Seasons program at the MUSC Institute Of Psychiatry, and also serves on the Patient & Family Council there. She shares her story to help others in every appropriate situation. She is a shining example for us all. Mary Ann is so deserving of this award!
