Charleston Dorchester Mental Health Center (CDMHC) has a highly experienced team of psychiatrists dedicated to serving the needs of patients in all our programs.
The psychiatric team is well integrated within all aspects of clinical care whereby they partner with mental health counselors in defining and delivering individualized care for our patients.

Medication Clinic
The medication clinic provides a full compliment of psychiatric nursing care to Charleston and Dorchester Clinic patients. Registered nurses work in collaboration with psychiatrists to provide injections, nursing services, and medication monitoring. We also have nurses as integrated members of regional teams that provide psychiatric nursing services, medication monitoring, home visits, and other supportive services.
Psychiatric Medical Assessment
The psychiatric team provides psychiatric assessment and treatment services in an outpatient setting for children, adolescents, and adults. Our medical team is actively involved in all aspects of patient care as they partner with mental health counselors in defining and delivering individualized treatment for our patients.
