Hypnotherapy services are now available for DMH clients. Hypnotherapy is an evidence-based and recognized form of clinical practice by the American Medical Association, AMA and the American Psychiatric Association, APA.
By blending hypnosis with cognitive behavior therapy, hypnotherapy (CH or CBHt) offers a unified version of clinical practice that can have a significant positive impact for clients struggling with a wide variety of issues.

- anxiety
- phobias
- depression
- emotional blocks
- insomnia
- low energy level
- addiction and substance abuse
- grief and loss
- trauma
- compulsive behavior
- stress and time management
In addition, hypnotherapy can also be used as an intervention to prevent, manage, and treat many complaints of chronic pain and chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting for cancer survivors and other physical illnesses such as lupus, multiple sclerosis, and asthma.
